The tour takes around 1h30 and goes through many different aviaries, for some of them the observation is from the outside and in others it’s possible to get inside and have a better contact with the birds.
There are around 130 species of birds, from which we can highlight the “Tucano-Toco”, a symbol of the park. In addition to the birds, there are butterflies, snakes and other reptiles.
Going inside the Araras’ aviary is a big excitement! At the end of the tour you may pass by the souvenirs store, but outside the park some natives also sell manufactured souvenirs!
Hostel Bambu offers transfers and tickets to the biggest bird park in South America. The tour includes transportation, leaving at 8.30 a.m., 11a.m. and 12p.m.
Tip: Wear comfortable clothes and remember – the birds bite!
